Job Summary

Lead SAP Basis and SAP HANA/S/4HANA technical architecture for large-scale, resilient SAP landscapes. Own solution architecture, technical roadmaps, and governance while guiding complex migrations, upgrades, cutovers, and OS/DB changes. Serve as a presales SME supporting AMS, migration/upgrade, and cloud proposals, including sizing and TCO/ROI models. Additionally, lead AMS delivery, handle critical escalations, drive continuous improvement, and mentor Basis/HANA administrators.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect complex, scalable SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SolMan, PO/PI, BTP) across on-premises and public/private cloud environments.
•Provide expert guidance on SAP HANA administration, including HA/DR, performance tuning, security, and data volume management; set technical roadmaps, standards, and governance for SAP Basis.
•Lead planning and execution of SAP projects including S/4HANA conversions (brownfield), new implementations (greenfield), OS/DB migrations, and major release upgrades.
•Develop and lead near-zero downtime cutover strategies and coordinate cross-functionally with functional, development, infrastructure, and client teams to ensure delivery quality, time, and budget.
•Act as SAP Basis/AMS technical SME in presales, contribute to RFP/SOW/proposals, manage AMS support strategy and escalations, drive continuous improvements/automation, and mentor Basis/HANA support teams.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of overall SAP Basis experience, including 5+ years in an architect or lead role with presales experience.
•Deep hands-on expertise in SAP Basis/NetWeaver and SAP S/4HANA and HANA database administration, including HA/DR, performance tuning, security, and data volume management.
•Experience leading full-cycle OS/DB migrations (including S/4HANA conversions/migrations) and major SAP release upgrades, EHP installations, and support pack/stack activities.
•Strong working knowledge of running SAP on Azure, AWS, or GCP (or in a RISE with SAP context).
•Demonstrated leadership of large, distributed, cross-functional technical teams and excellent communication for executive and technical audiences.
