Job Summary

Own avionics systems engineering for display, navigation, and graphics functions across the product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

•Lead avionics systems engineering for one or more systems such as display/graphics, PFD, MFD, ND, moving map, and FMS, covering architecture, design, requirements development, verification, and validation.
•Validate system requirements with focus on reliability, maintainability, testability, regulatory compliance, and certification; support development/review of system safety requirements in the aerospace domain.
•Apply system safety assessment (SSA/FHA) and safety analysis methods (FTA, FMECA, safety assessment reports) aligned with ARP4761/ARP4754A and MIL-STD-882.
•Plan, implement, and monitor requirements management, risk management, issue management, and opportunity management processes/tools; ensure design integrity across the lifecycle.
•Collaborate with system leaders and cross-functional engineering teams; present technical updates, participate in safety review panels, review flight documentation/scenarios for safety impacts, and perform integration testing and verification.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Aeronautical, Systems Engineering, or related) with 8–15 years of avionics systems engineering experience.
•Strong systems engineering experience across the complete product development lifecycle, including requirements management, system architecture, and configuration/change control.
•Expertise in HMI/UI design and development for PFD, ND, MAP functionality, and FMS within avionics systems.
•Knowledge of SAE ARP4754A/ARP4761, system safety assessment (SSA) and functional hazard assessment (FHA), plus related safety documentation.
•Hands-on experience with system integration benches, hardware/software integration, integration verification/validation, and system-level testing.
