Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently execute red-team designs, models, and analyses across programs to hunt failure modes and hidden assumptions.
  • •Develop and contribute to models/simulations to prove or break claims, including building analysis tooling.
  • •Reconstruct and independently verify others’ work and find errors others missed.
  • •Work with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams to translate findings into actionable guidance.
  • •Use hands-on systems-building experience to catch problems during analysis rather than in flight, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • •Hands-on track record of designing/building and analyzing real engineering systems (not analysis-only).
  • •Demonstrated ability to find problems others miss using failure analysis, adversarial review, or independent verification.
  • •Proven ability to independently own and execute deliverables with little to no management.
  • •Proficiency with physics-math scripting (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python with numpy/scipy) and a strong engineering background (Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC, Systems, or similar).
