Job Summary

Lead Netflix’s APAC accounts payable function based in Singapore, overseeing invoice processing, resolution/disputes, and payments across 8–10 countries. Serve as APAC Payments process owner, maintain best practices and controls in partnership with regional AP leaders, Treasury, FinTech, and Internal Audit. Manage, mentor, and scale the APAC team while driving fraud prevention, SOX/GAAP compliance, process improvements, automation, and business continuity across the AP organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the APAC accounts payable function, including invoice processing, resolution/dispute management, and payments across multiple APAC countries (~8–10).
•Serve as APAC Payments process owner, defining and maintaining payment best practices, standards, and controls in partnership with regional AP leaders/Global POC, Treasury, FinTech, and Internal Audit.
•Lead, mentor, and develop the APAC AP team in Singapore, including invoice support, resolution, payments, and tax compliance; own people management activities such as hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance management, and career development.
•Safeguard company assets by preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
•Identify and implement process improvements and automation; build scalable workflows; drive adoption of technology advancements and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on AP strategy and operations, including close oversight, control documentation, regulatory reporting, audits, and business continuity planning.

•Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to different audiences and collaborating across departments.
•Understanding of SOX compliance rules and guidelines, GAAP, and the P2P process.
•Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging technology to streamline AP operations.
•Proven experience managing large-scope operations and complex payment processes, including using metrics to measure and improve performance.
