Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S standards and all safety procedures while completing daily and weekly schedules on time.
•Observe load hookup and determine safety of loads before operation.
•Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions and signals.
•Clean and maintain the crane and hoisting mechanism; inspect for defective parts and notify a supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
•Attach loads to the hook or other crane accessories prior to operating the crane, when required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma.
•3+ years of experience as a crane operator.
•Ability to perform the listed crane operation and maintenance duties.
•Demonstrated good time management.
•Effective oral and written communication, problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
