Job Summary

Lead all direct tax matters across EUI and international markets, aligning regional tax strategy with global policy and business objectives. Own corporate income tax, withholding tax (WHT), and DST compliance and reporting, and run quarterly/annual tax provisions with forecasting under IFRS and local GAAP. Manage transfer pricing implementation, identify and mitigate tax risks in complex jurisdictions, and build a high-performing regional direct tax team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the direct tax strategy across EUI, aligning with global tax policy and regional business objectives.
•Oversee corporate income tax, WHT, and DST compliance and reporting across all EUI jurisdictions.
•Run quarterly and annual tax provision processes (IFRS / UK FRS / relevant local GAAP) and manage effective tax rate forecasting.
•Ensure consistent implementation of global transfer pricing policies and documentation standards.
•Identify, assess, and manage tax risks across the region, including supporting tax audits and controversy matters and building the regional direct tax team.

Key Requirements

•Significant progressive direct tax experience in multinational corporate environments or reputable professional services firms, with strong international tax focus.
•Deep knowledge of corporate income tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
•Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
•Ability to analyze complex legislative landscapes, interpret impacts, and recommend commercially sound solutions.
•Experience managing tax obligations and risk across multiple jurisdictions, including exposure to emerging or higher-complexity markets.
