Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-coating operations including surface preparation and masking duties using verbal, written, or computer-generated instructions.
  • •Complete post-coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures, removing masking, and troubleshooting/diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
  • •Perform deburring, blending, polishing, countersinking, grinding, drilling, or grit blast operations on aerospace engine component surfaces and details using hand and power tools.
  • •Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gages, and other fixed gages.
  • •Perform minor repairs on coating equipment where applicable and assist engineers in developing new or changed operations.
