Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy documents needed to finalize all loan transactions.
  • •Prepare, review, and execute legal documentation for new, renewed, and increased consumer, personal real estate, and commercial loans.
  • •Determine the required level of borrower and collateral due diligence and collect required documents (e.g., KYC/OFAC, Flood Determinations, UCC searches, Title Commitments).
  • •Act as a resource to relationship teams for highly complex loan transactions and coordinate with legal, outside law firms, and account officers.
  • •Prepare internal booking forms/collateral set ups, submit complete loan packages for funding approval, and develop procedures/controls to protect documentation and customer information.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years’ experience or equivalent in the commercial banking/secured lending industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for personal and commercial loans.
  • •Strong knowledge of requirements for commercial real estate and syndicated loan transactions.
  • •Strong knowledge of commercial banking systems to extract information from various systems for analysis.
  • •Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify documentation deficiencies and work with bank databases.
