Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree (MS/MA preferred) in anthropology, archaeology, or historical archaeology.
  • •1-3 years related archaeological field experience in California.
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with strong oral and written communication.
  • •Working knowledge of cultural resources, environmental regulations, and North American archaeology (including Southern California, Mojave Desert, and Great Basin).
  • •Experience with ESRI FieldMaps and knowledge of NHPA, ARPA, and NAGPRA, plus relevant state laws.
