Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the shift from automated to AI-led localization, focusing on product UI-first accelerated multi-language releases.
  • •Extend AI-led pipeline models across the content stack (e.g., online documentation and marketing) with partner engineers.
  • •Define technical best practices, engineering documentation, and governance standards to guide the broader team.
  • •Build intelligence into operations with AI-powered reporting to complement existing reporting.
  • •Own hands-on delivery of key initiatives and orchestrate contracted/distributed engineering partners effectively.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on integration of LLMs (ideally Claude/Anthropic) and agentic steps into production engineering workflows.
  • •Ability to design event-driven, API-first localization infrastructure where content flows automatically from repos/CMS/databases into translation engines.
  • •Strong i18n/l10n engineering knowledge including string externalisation and localization file formats/encoding conventions.
  • •Solid understanding of TMS principles including Translation Memory and Machine Translation (and next-generation integration frameworks).
  • •Strong scripting and automation skills (JavaScript, Python, Regex) plus CI/CD and DevOps familiarity.
