Job Summary

Own sprint-to-release execution and product backlog for the Metadata APIs & Frameworks area, which powers Salesforce’s core metadata and schema infrastructure. Serve as the primary PM voice for developers, admins, ISVs, and internal platform teams relying on Metadata API and Tooling API. Drive platform reliability and developer-experience improvements, triage customer trust cases, and partner with engineering, quality, and architecture to deliver performant, dependable metadata CRUD at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Own sprint-to-release execution for Metadata and Tooling APIs and Metadata Frameworks teams, including sprint ceremonies, backlog prioritization, release planning, and on-time delivery.
•Maintain a prioritized product backlog balancing customer trust cases, technical debt reduction, gap closure, and strategic feature development.
•Act as the voice of the customer by understanding how external developers, admins, and ISVs rely on the Metadata and Tooling APIs, identifying friction and reliability gaps, and driving improvements.
•Triage and drive resolution of customer trust cases in partnership with engineering and support to investigate, prioritize, and resolve issues affecting reliability and developer experience.
•Partner with stakeholders across engineering, quality, architecture, and customer-facing teams to keep metadata APIs reliable, performant, and aligned with platform needs.

Key Requirements

•3–5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, developer tools, platform services, or related technology domains.
•Strong execution track record owning sprint-level product work, driving release planning, and shipping on a predictable cadence.
•Technical fluency to partner with engineering on APIs, metadata schemas, CRUD operations, performance, and platform architecture.
•Customer-centric mindset including triaging customer issues and driving resolutions with support and engineering.
•Excellent written and verbal communication to write PRDs, communicate status, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
