Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide mechanical engineering leadership for the Towed Array portfolio and increase mechanical team capability.
  • •Support PDA and PLA technically on approvals, roadmap execution, and build issues/improvements.
  • •Coordinate product definition and assess trade-offs between cost, customer requirements, and technological possibilities.
  • •Develop mechanical elements of the Towed Array product and drive future product capability, including subsea design tasks.
  • •Provide trials and integration support as required and mentor other members of the TA team.

Key Requirements

  • •L6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific discipline and/or proven experience in a relevant field.
  • •Strong demonstrated experience in mechanical design roles, including using CREO and PDMLink.
  • •Working knowledge of relevant standards including DEF STAN and ISO.
  • •Experience producing manufacturing and assembly drawings, including detailed drawings and key point manufacturing drawings from model.
  • •Experience with configuration management tooling and 3D CAD systems, plus understanding manufacturing techniques and problem solving.
