Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare melt chamber equipment, charging furnace, and related systems for atomization.
  • •Monitor heat chemistries and prepare liquid pour for atomizing to support continuous operation.
  • •Weigh raw materials and oversize powder to meet required product chemistry.
  • •Perform refractory tasks, including thorough cleaning, assembly, inspection, and installation of equipment for melt preparation.
  • •Verify equipment and materials are ready for atomization, review documentation, and complete removal/installation of the furnace into the melt chamber.

Key Requirements

  • •General HS Diploma / GED.
  • •Mechanical aptitude with efficient use of hand and power tools while operating the atomizing unit.
  • •Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Proficient with basic computer applications and ability to work independently and with a team.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
