Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate within the Maritime group to design, develop, and deliver unified, productized support systems for autonomous vehicle deployment, recovery, operation, and maintenance.
•Refine mechanical solutions for support system components including launch and recovery mechanisms, handling gear, and transportation/storage solutions, plus associated testing equipment.
•Select, qualify, and manage vendors for commercial off-the-shelf components and for outsourced manufacturing/design of support systems.
•Lead technical efforts to define requirements, propose solutions, and establish evaluation and verification methodologies for support systems.
•Partner with other disciplines to ensure electrical, software, and mechanical systems collectively form a reliable, flexible, cost-effective system, including leading design reviews and implementing hardware test plans.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•4+ years of experience with mechanical design and testing in maritime, aerospace, or defense systems (maritime preferred).
•Proven CAD skills (Siemens NX preferred) and ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings that comply with common industry standards.
•Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
