Job Summary

Design and lead Azure-based data and analytics solutions, including data platform architecture, ingestion pipelines, and operations for large-scale data lakes. Apply Microsoft Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework guidance to solution design and implementation. Partner with clients through design workshops, provide architecture tradeoffs, and deliver proofs of concept. Manage client relationships and Azure Center of Excellence activities while mentoring engineers and supporting cross-functional project execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage key clients, relationships with Microsoft, and the Azure Center of Excellence.
•Lead Data & Analytics projects on Azure, including data platform design using Azure data and AI services.
•Design data ingestion and data pipeline architecture using Azure native services and/or data management technologies like Talend or Informatica.
•Apply Microsoft Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework to solution design and implementation, including operations architecture and performance engineering for large-scale production data lakes.
•Lead client design workshops, mentor engineers on coding best practices, and support recruitment and capability development.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in data analytics, preferably within consulting environments.
•Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level.
•Strong experience in Azure cloud-native environments and Big Data architectures (cloud and on-prem).
•Hands-on knowledge of Azure data and analytics services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen1/Gen2, Databricks, Stream Analytics, Purview).
•Experience with workload migration to cloud, monitoring distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK), and working with Agile/Kanban.
