Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide face-to-face technical support on campus for faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and account access issues.
  • •Perform device diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for university-owned equipment, including setup and configuration of devices, applications, and university systems.
  • •Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides in incident management systems, and collaborate with Global Helpdesk and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • •Manage knowledge and process improvement by updating self-help resources and identifying recurring issues to suggest improvements.
  • •Support in-person technology training and outreach (one-on-one and small groups) and stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in L1/L2 support.
  • •Strong troubleshooting for Windows 10/11 (including imaging, Group Policy basics) and macOS.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory (account creation, password resets, group membership) and MFA troubleshooting (Microsoft Authenticator, Duo).
  • •Working understanding of M365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and endpoint management tools such as Intune, JAMF, or Ninja One.
  • •Familiarity with networking basics (Wi‑Fi, VPN client issues, DNS/DHCP) plus device/printing support (Papercut) and cybersecurity best practices.
