Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise producers on building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation.
  • •Visit farms to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, monitor bird health, and recommend remedies when possible.
  • •Monitor feed consumption and order feed if necessary.
  • •Pull blood and fat samples as required and coordinate chick placements, catch schedules, and weekly chick placement activities.
  • •Ensure compliance with production contracts and USDA and other government regulations, and coordinate communication among Hatchery, Feedmill, and Livehaul departments.
