Job Summary

Join TI’s FAST (Field Applications & Sales Training) Career Accelerator Program and build expertise as a Field Applications Engineer through a 12-month track with three rotations. You’ll learn to solve customer design challenges in field sales, scale solutions across mass-market segments, and develop systems-level application knowledge covering schematics, PCB layouts, fabrication, and validation. Complete a four-week global headquarters experience in Dallas and then transition into worldwide Sales & Applications responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in TI’s Career Accelerator Program (CAP) with function-specific technical training and hands-on learning.
•Complete the Field Applications Engineer track with three rotations across Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing.
•Apply technical expertise to solve customer engineering challenges and analyze trade-offs and component selection.
•Provide customers proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content.
•After successful completion, support worldwide Sales & Applications responsibilities including influencing part selection versus competition.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•Fluent in local language and English with strong written and oral communication skills.
•Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
•Knowledge of analog circuitry (e.g., op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing).
•Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, plus soldering and debugging skills.
