Job Summary

Oversee and direct health, safety, and environmental (HSE) engineering efforts to ensure employees, contractors, and visitors work safely. Own compliance with environmental and safety regulations and corporate/customer requirements, drive continuous improvement in HSE performance, and support risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain HSE documentation and metrics, and lead/participate in emergency planning and HSE engagement activities.

•Provide technical HSE leadership and day-to-day support to ensure employees, contractors, and visitors work safely.
•Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements.
•Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and HSE performance.
•Conduct inspections (including GEMBAs) and validate risk assessments.
•Lead or support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed on time and verified for effectiveness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
•5+ years of experience in HSE Engineering.
•In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
•Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety practices including hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation/root cause analysis, contractor safety, PPE, emergency preparedness, ergonomics, lockout/tagout, and chemical/material-handling safety.
•Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, HSE tracking/reporting, and incident/corrective-action documentation).
