Job Summary

Enhance and build highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure as part of Visa’s Global PRE team. Lead projects to improve reliability and performance for services, platforms, RESTful APIs, container-based distributed systems, and cloud services. Own rapid root-cause analysis to prevent downtime, collaborate across product and engineering partners, and drive automation and GenAI adoption while migrating cloud infrastructure with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure security and safety of application services and platforms while improving operational practices for efficiency and excellence.
•Maintain zero downtime by rapidly addressing issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing production remediation after testing.
•Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and operations stakeholders to deliver reliable infrastructure.
•Drive automation and adoption of Generative AI by regularly analyzing the environment and improving operational capabilities.
•Lead cloud infrastructure adoption and migration, escalating and coordinating “problem bridges” to resolve issues promptly.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
•3+ years building/operating JAVA and J2EE applications with strong Web Services knowledge (REST & SOAP).
•2+ years managing applications on Containers (Docker) and Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
•Knowledge of Generative AI capabilities and use cases for enabling them in the environment.
•Experience working in 24x7 environments; strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, and production support automation skills.
