Job Summary

Review investor documentation for account opening, maintenance, and trigger events to ensure adherence with Northern Trust AML processes and procedures. Serve as the escalation point for unresolved offshore AML issues, handling complex cases and timely escalation to line management. Support efficient query handling, maintain AML best-practice knowledge, contribute to PEP and escalation form drafting, and prepare audit files as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Review investor documentation analysis for account opening, maintenance, and trigger events to ensure compliance with Northern Trust AML processes and procedures
•Escalate unresolved issues and handle complex cases by timely escalation to the line manager
•Maintain strong working relationships with partners in Northern Trust’s Investor AML Department in Ireland and India
•Promote enhancements to AML processes by staying current on Investor AML good practice and knowledge
•Perform daily cash monitoring, help draft PEP and escalation forms, and prepare audit files/responses as appropriate

Key Requirements

•Sound knowledge of Transfer Agency duties and financial markets, ideally from a similar role
•Experience in a similar role as a senior AML analyst
•Fluency in English (written and spoken); French or German is a distinct advantage
•Good understanding of IT system flows and proficiency with MS Office
•Strong attention to detail and analytical/technical thinking, with the ability to work independently in an organized way
