Job Summary

Own the technical pre-sales relationship for opportunities and accounts, partnering with Sales to evaluate and drive adoption of Algolia. Demonstrate product architecture, address technical and business objections, and deliver consultative solutions through discovery, demos, POCs, RFP responses, and business justification. Build custom search applications using Algolia’s ecosystem and APIs, advocate customer needs internally, and help ensure successful onboarding with Solution Architects and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with Sales teams and prospects on evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
•Understand and qualify customer goals using KPIs, and articulate how Algolia meets them.
•Support the sales process including discovery, demos, Proofs of Concept (POCs), RFP responses, and business justification.
•Develop custom search applications and prototypes using Algolia tools, frameworks, and integrations via APIs.
•Advocate customer needs and relay product feedback to Product and Engineering, supporting transition to post-sales onboarding.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 77,500 - 96,750 annually

Key Requirements

•Speak German fluently.
•4+ years of customer-facing technical experience (SE, SA, consultant, or PM), ideally in SaaS.
•Hands-on software development experience with one or more of: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.
•Experience working with data formats and data transformation.
•Excellent oral and written communication, plus strong organization and attention to detail while managing multiple customers.
