Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
  • •Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and bags to prevent prohibited items from entering.
  • •Maintain safety and order by circulating among guests and/or employees and protecting venue property.
  • •Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft.
  • •Patrol doors, windows, and gates; write reports of irregularities; warn, apprehend, or evict violators when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •State of Connecticut Security Officers Identification Card (Guard Card) required.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • •Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
  • •Ability to perform duties professionally and make independent judgments within policy and procedures.
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
