Job Summary

Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule violations. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and bags, control entrance and departure of guests and employees, write incident reports, and ensure doors, windows, and gates remain secure. You’ll also escort individuals when needed and apprehend or evict violators. Part-time and seasonal, with evening and weekend availability required.

Key Responsibilities

•Guard, patrol, and/or monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
•Screen individuals and bags using detecting devices to prevent prohibited items from entering.
•Maintain security and safety by controlling entrance and departure of guests, employees, and others.
•Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
•Write reports of activities and irregularities and warn, apprehend, or evict violators from premises.

Key Requirements

•State of Connecticut Security Officers Identification Card (Guard Card) required.
•High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
•Security or law enforcement experience preferred.
•Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
