Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical design and delivery of large cross-team backend initiatives, identifying and removing systemic bottlenecks.
  • •Drive modular backend, service, data, and platform architecture, modernizing a monolith and legacy backends while preventing fragmentation.
  • •Define and improve standards for APIs, contracts, compatibility, schema evolution, testing, security, performance, observability, and production readiness practices.
  • •Establish shared patterns for dependency management, data ownership, eventing, failure isolation, service maturity, and operational documentation (including Go service patterns and Kubernetes practices).
  • •Participate in on-call and incident response, act as escalation for complex incidents, and lead AI-assisted/agentic engineering adoption with guardrails.
