Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and assist with gastrointestinal motility studies including oesophageal manometry, pH impedance, anorectal manometry, rectal compliance, and sensation testing.
  • •Ensure correct technique and optimal functioning of motility and diagnostic equipment.
  • •Administer breath tests (Glucose/Lactulose Breath Tests and Gastric Emptying Breath Tests) according to approved protocols.
  • •Provide pre- and post-procedure support for Colon Capsule Endoscopy and Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy, including bowel preparation verification and data processing for physician interpretation.
  • •Monitor patients during procedures and recovery, respond promptly to complications/adverse reactions, and educate patients and families on preparation, dietary and medication adjustments.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or Degree in Nursing, minimum two-year course) and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
  • •At least 2 years of hospital (or similar) experience.
  • •Strong technical capability to perform specialized GI motility and diagnostic procedures.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families throughout the testing process.
