Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate the movement of livestock from the receiving area to holding pens.
  • •Receives, unloads, and sorts hogs according to quality and weight.
  • •Identifies (tattoo), scales, moves, and accurately counts livestock, including dead or non-ambulatory animals.
  • •Moves hogs from trucks to holding pens and monitors yard and truck conditions to ensure proper handling.
  • •Performs animal welfare audits, processes outgoing livestock, and communicates with team members and management while completing required training.
