Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise DR and business continuity programs across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • •Architect multi-region and hybrid failover solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP, defining RTO/RPO and ensuring solutions meet contractual and regulatory thresholds.
  • •Oversee on-premises data center resilience, including storage replication, SAN/NAS failover, bare-metal recovery, and virtualization recovery strategies using VMware SRM and Veeam.
  • •Design and maintain immutable backup and air-gapped architectures; run cyber recovery exercises and maintain clean-room recovery playbooks aligned with incident response.
  • •Plan and execute DR tests at least twice per year, track closure of findings with a risk register, and provide technical escalation and mentorship for complex recovery scenarios.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 6 years focused on Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • •Expertise designing and operating DR solutions on at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including cross-region replication and failover, plus managed database high availability.
  • •Hands-on experience with on-premises DR technologies including VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and Veeam (or equivalent).
  • •Experience building and executing ransomware recovery programs, including immutable storage and cyber recovery runbooks.
  • •Strong command of compliance frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34/CSF, SOC 2) and relevant sector regulations; plus scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
