Job Summary

Develop HVAC-related, turnkey design-build and energy performance contracting projects for an ESCO, supporting acquisition from scope through transition. Partner with internal teams and customers to create system concepts, engineering analysis, estimates, and proposal support, working with energy engineers to quantify savings. Manage design from conceptual plans through construction documents, validate and improve design-build/ESPC processes, and support account managers with budgets, RFQs, permitting, and bonding.

•Develop HVAC systems and solutions using Trane equipment and controls and other HVAC systems, including scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
•Support account managers with installation budget development and RFQs, including scope statements, milestone dates, specs, and permitting/bonding requirements.
•Provide key technical support for business acquisition and participate on strategic job acquisition teams.
•Manage design work from conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents through construction documents.
•Validate the effectiveness of design-build turnkey and ESPC processes, identify improvements, and support customer acquisition through project transition.

•Proficiency with Visio and AutoCAD (or other design software) and knowledge of computerized energy simulation tools is a plus.
