Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop HVAC systems and solutions using Trane equipment and controls and other HVAC systems, including scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
  • •Support account managers with installation budget development and RFQs, including scope statements, milestone dates, specs, and permitting/bonding requirements.
  • •Provide key technical support for business acquisition and participate on strategic job acquisition teams.
  • •Manage design work from conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents through construction documents.
  • •Validate the effectiveness of design-build turnkey and ESPC processes, identify improvements, and support customer acquisition through project transition.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field, or Business.
  • •Working knowledge of cost and savings studies incorporating energy conservation measures (ECM).
  • •Working knowledge of energy rebate programs, utility tariffs, and utility bill analysis.
  • •Ability to audit mechanical and building systems and recommend improvement solutions.
  • •Proficiency with Visio and AutoCAD (or other design software) and knowledge of computerized energy simulation tools is a plus.
