Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce, check and approve engineering deliverables including reports, presentations, design calculations and drawings for tunnels and shafts.
  • •Work in a dynamic tunnelling and geotechnical team across projects from feasibility through to construction, including micro-tunnels and trenchless solutions.
  • •Effectively manage and deliver project work with robust project financial management.
  • •Support project delivery across client liaison, contractors, sub-consultants, public/statutory body consultation, quality control, and specialist management.
  • •Carry out business development activities, including preparation of technical proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing and delivering tunnelling projects, ideally including multidisciplinary design coordination and engineering/programming deliverables at a high technical level.
  • •Civil/structural and geotechnical engineering technical expertise with a demonstrable understanding of underlying principles for tunnelling schemes.
  • •Consultancy experience with strong commercial awareness and relationships with clients and contractors.
  • •Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Structural Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer (or equivalent registration) and experience working with Eurocodes and other design standards.
