Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and remove measurement, control and regulation equipment, including SCADA and gas quality equipment.
  • •Monitor gas volumes, detect measurement errors, apply corrections, and provide supporting documentation.
  • •Interpret and apply electrical and electronic schematics for electronic flow measurement and measurement electronics.
  • •Assess assigned facilities to maintain accurate measurement and reduce lost and unaccounted for gas/product; perform general upkeep and maintain equipment.
  • •Oversee third-party construction/maintenance work, perform audits of custody transfer/control data, complete documentation, and enforce safety by identifying/reporting unsafe conditions and using stop work authority.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree in a technical field and/or at least 3 years equivalent experience.
  • •Working knowledge of the National Electric Codes and experience with electronic test instruments.
  • •Knowledge of natural gas and liquid chromatography, plus safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high pressure systems.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment used in gas and liquid measurement and control; familiarity with AGA, API, and GPA measurement standards.
  • •Valid driver’s license meeting company insurability requirements, with ability to maintain required operations qualifications/certifications as needed.
