Job Summary

Lead residential solar installation crews to deliver safe, efficient projects. You’ll review inventory, assemble and layout solar modules, racking, mounts, and electrical equipment, apply weather sealing, and keep job sites clean. In addition to installing (including solar battery work when assigned), you’ll guide and provide technical support to fellow installers, participate in training, and may act as foreperson when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as part of a solar installation construction crew to complete residential solar installation projects.
•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the crew truck is adequately stocked.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment, and tools; apply weather sealing and assemble racking/support structures per project plan.
•Ensure personal, crew, and job site safety; participate in mandatory training on new products and installation methodology.
•Lead the crew through safe, effective installations and provide leadership/technical support to fellow installers (assist with solar battery installations when assigned).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.4 - 35.21 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required (construction or military experience may be considered).
•Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a driving background check (must be 21+).
•Adhere to company safety policies and be able to identify and report safety hazards while encouraging others to work safely.
•Ability to meet deadlines and key metrics, work independently as a team player, and participate in cross-training through Power+.
