Drive operational efficiency through digital transformation, advanced analytics, working-capital optimization, and risk mitigation throughout the inventory lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct the inventory management strategy for Cobre Panamá, aligning with corporate and operational objectives and supervising inventory teams.
•Plan, control, and optimize inventories by setting replenishment strategies, optimal inventory levels, and reviewing ABC categorization and stock rotation metrics.
•Oversee ERP and master data governance for materials, including configurations and integrations with IT, Procurement, and Finance.
•Ensure compliance with corporate standards and local regulations; lead internal and external audits and implement corrective action plans.
•Monitor inventory value and support working-capital optimization through monthly accounting close collaboration and reconciliation of stock variations.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
•15+ years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management, supply chain, or industrial logistics, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
•Proven experience in large-scale industries, preferably mining, energy, or heavy manufacturing.
•Advanced ERP systems knowledge (JD Edwards, SAP, or similar) and analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel).
•Deep experience with demand planning, inventory control, ABC categorization, critical spares management, and inventory turnover analysis.
