Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare semiconductor samples for TEM characterization using Dual Beam FIB systems and complementary preparation methods such as micro-cleaving, polishing, and ion etching.
  • •Learn and apply FIB-based sample preparation techniques under technical guidance.
  • •Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to understand characterization objectives and sample requirements.
  • •Investigate advanced FIB methodologies and participate in projects improving sample preparation effectiveness, consistency, and turnaround time.
  • •Explore and evaluate AI-enabled tools (including LLMs/agentic AI) to identify process improvement opportunities and develop documentation and deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Strong foundation in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Interest in semiconductor process technology and materials characterization.
  • •Knowledge of microscopy, materials analysis, or laboratory-based experimentation; familiarity with FIB or TEM concepts is advantageous.
  • •Analytical thinking, strong communication (written, verbal, presentation), and ability to learn independently while collaborating in a team environment.
