Key Responsibilities

•Design enhancement, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of firmware.
•Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on overall architecture.
•Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation; debug issues and create solutions.
•Lead a project team of firmware engineers and internal/outsourced development partners to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
•Collaborate with partners on firmware design status, project progress, and issue resolution; provide guidance and mentoring.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
•Typically 6–9 years of experience in firmware/software firmware engineering.
•Expertise in multiple firmware design tools and languages.
•Design firmware with interaction and integration with hardware design.
•Experience with firmware testing methodology, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts/tools.
