Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Class 8 trucks and trailers
  • •Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems
  • •Repair and maintain aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), including performing regens and changing filters
  • •Maintain accurate records and work with your team to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime
  • •Follow safety protocols to ensure the fleet remains DOT compliant

Key Requirements

  • •6 months+ experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment (e.g., agricultural, construction, waste collection trucks)
  • •Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems
  • •Proficiency using diagnostic software and a laptop for manuals
  • •Minimum two ASE certifications within the first 6 months of employment (T-series ASE valued)
  • •Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and ability to perform physical maintenance tasks (lifting, bending, etc.)
