Job Summary

Mobilize local churches, faith communities, and individuals to support and advocate for refugees and immigrants in Thurston County. Partner with the WRWW outreach team to train and support participating organizations, coordinate volunteer recruitment and onboarding, and provide community education through public speaking, webinars, and video conferences. Assist with public relations, marketing campaigns, and fundraising initiatives, cultivating relationships with churches and donors while supervising others and modeling Christian leadership values.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and grow a network of local churches and faith communities to serve, support, and advocate for refugees and immigrants.
•Equip and mobilize faith leaders, congregations, and community members through training and ongoing support.
•Deliver community-facing education through regular public speaking and coordinating webinars and video conferences.
•Support public relations, marketing campaigns, and fundraising initiatives, including creating Thurston-specific materials for social media and other channels.
•Supervise others, monitoring daily work, tracking timesheets and time off, and documenting goals and performance in HRIS.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.35 - 25.1 hourly

•Ability to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief Core Beliefs and Statement of Faith, including Christian Identity.
•Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to pass MVR standards.
•Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills, including working with partners across a range of faith perspectives.
•Previous experience working with refugees and immigrants and organizing/leading volunteers.
