Job Summary

Partner with a business unit to execute human resources strategy aligned to current and future talent needs. Support HR programs across talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation. Drive annual performance management, assist with progressive discipline, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law. Use HR analytics and engagement survey data to improve retention and engagement while promoting inclusion and diversity.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage overall talent and workforce planning for an assigned business unit, supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, and development.
•Serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership; conduct and document HR investigations, EEO complaints, harassment complaints, and other employee issues.
•Drive the annual performance management process and help individuals and management create development plans.
•Support managers with performance issues and progressive discipline, participating in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations while ensuring documentation is recorded and filed.
•Ensure employment law compliance and use HR analytics and engagement survey data to improve retention and engagement while promoting inclusion and diversity.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•5+ years of experience in human resources with broad exposure to employment investigations, employee engagement, policy interpretation, performance management, talent acquisition, and talent development.
•Experience working in union and non-union environments in construction/production.
•Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Valid state driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
