Job Summary

Extend credit for commercial borrowers in accordance with the bank’s loan policies, ensuring accurate credit decisions, documentation, and compliant underwriting. Interview applicants, evaluate credit history and collateral, authorize or recommend approvals/denials, and prepare loan offering memoranda. Monitor loan performance, recommend risk-rating changes, manage a loan portfolio, and support collections and workout processes while completing required BSA/AML and compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Extend credit by making and/or recommending loan decisions that comply with laws, regulations, and bank policy.
•Interview commercial loan applicants, evaluate credit/financial history, examine collateral, and approve or recommend approval/denial within limits.
•Prepare loan offering memoranda and ensure loan documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with policy.
•Monitor the loan portfolio/performance, recommend changes in risk rating, and manage collection of past-due loans (including workouts for problem loans).
•Develop new business, manage an existing portfolio, and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Equivalent of a four-year college degree plus 6 years related experience and/or training, and 5 years related management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•5 years lending experience.
•5 years’ experience with banking, investment, or economic analysis.
•2 years’ experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Ability to communicate using oral and written skills.
