Job Summary

Lead and direct the Machine Maintenance Department to improve machine efficiency, reliability, and maintenance effectiveness. Ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition, manage preventative maintenance compliance, and develop technical guidance for standardization and continuous improvement. Oversee capital projects, budgets, and spare parts inventory, monitor downtime and efficiency metrics, and mentor maintenance staff while enforcing safety, environmental, and health requirements.

•Set priorities and direct day-to-day Machine Maintenance Department activities, including continuous improvement vision and capital investment strategies.
•Ensure machines are maintained in safe operating condition; evaluate equipment and OEM vendor qualifications.
•Review and support preventative maintenance programs, including planning, project management, and resource allocation for compliance.
•Develop, budget, and implement capital projects to improve safety, reduce costs, and increase operating efficiency and plant systems.
•Provide technical leadership, mentor maintenance staff, oversee hiring/training/development, and enforce safety, environmental, and health requirements.
