Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide care and supervision for students in schools and pre-schools.
  • •Assist teaching staff with non-teaching duties and classroom activities.
  • •Prepare indoor and outdoor learning environments and teaching materials.
  • •Assist children with learning difficulties and support their social skills development.
  • •Operate audiovisual equipment and other teaching aids to support lessons.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate and participate in activities that enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children in schools and pre-schools.
  • •Prepare indoor and outdoor areas for learning and recreational activities.
  • •Assist children with intellectual, physical, behavioural and other learning difficulties with their studies.
  • •Assist children individually to learn social skills.
  • •Assist with preparing teaching materials and copying and collating written and printed material; operate audiovisual equipment and other teaching aides; distribute and collect lesson material.
  • •A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
