Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, including outcomes and metrics, and prioritize a backlog by value, risk, dependency, and strategic priority.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering for money-movement correctness, idempotency/ledgering/reconciliation, third-party rail reliability, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, or ops leads.
  • •Define how AI is allowed to decide, where humans stay in the loop, how AI is evaluated, and what happens when the model is unsure.
  • •Ship features behind flags and launch per partner and regulatory gates, coordinating across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment under ambiguity and the ability to balance ambition with technical, regulatory, and operational reality.
  • •Solid system design foundation (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency) and comfort reviewing and challenging design docs.
  • •Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, or the ability to rapidly ramp and understand money-movement correctness.
  • •Hands-on experience with LLM-based products, including defining evaluable features (offline/online/human feedback) and understanding hallucination/drift/data gaps.
  • •Ability to apply regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, including CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and privacy/data residency.
