Job Summary

Join the Land Surveying and Geospatial team in an entry-level role supporting a party chief while performing land survey field work. Work on diverse projects across commercial, transportation, environmental, industrial, institutional, and energy sectors, using survey instruments and documenting clear notes and sketches. Represent WSP professionally with clients and the public, and perform field tasks independently or with an instrument operator as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform survey field work in a supporting role under the guidance of a party chief; may lead when needed.
•Perform field surveys either independently or with an instrument operator and use survey instruments/equipment to obtain measurements.
•Prepare clear, legible notes and sketches based on field work.
•Interact with office staff, management, clients, and the public while representing WSP professionally.
•Handle additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required (higher education in land surveying or related field ideal).
•2+ years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services or a related field.
•Basic knowledge of common survey equipment, practices, and procedures.
•Ability to work independently with supervision or as part of a team to complete field tasks.
•Physical ability to perform field duties, including walking long distances and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds.
