Job Summary

Drive footwear product development from final design review through commercialization, managing the development cycle from seasonal kickoff to production confirmation. Lead cross-functional reviews, ensure on-time buy-ready decisions and margin adherence, confirm sample quality, and coordinate fit execution. Partner with VF Asia development, factory teams, materials, and costing to improve manufacturing efficiencies and publish complete tech packs into Flex PLM.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage footwear development from kickoff to production, ensuring triad adherence to product creation calendar milestones.
•Initiate and lead product-team meetings across development phases to drive decisions that achieve on-time buy-ready status and margin goals.
•Confirm final development samples on time, ensuring quality and accuracy standards, and manage sample retention and storage with the commercialization manager.
•Collaborate with VF Asia and factory teams to identify manufacturing efficiencies, reduce product cost, and recommend materials that meet design intent and margin targets.
•Create and publish technical packages/tech packs (CADs, patterns, tooling artwork, product details) and ensure fit execution while addressing quality issues with cross-functional teams.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,400 - 108,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in footwear product development with professional achievements.
•Demonstrated understanding of the development process from brief hand-off to production.
•Demonstrated understanding of tooling processes, including 2D/3D CAD and CAM processes.
•Demonstrated understanding of materials, pattern engineering, tooling processes, and mold construction.
•Competence with Adobe Illustrator, product management/development systems, and Microsoft Office.
