Key Responsibilities

  • •Embrace and promote the GEMS Core Values and ensure school vision, mission, policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed.
  • •Plan and deliver quality Social Studies lessons that motivate students and cater to different learning styles and needs.
  • •Maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, and assessment plans; show written evidence of planning on request.
  • •Set and mark work; assess, record, and report student progress and attainment, using assessment to support individual needs.
  • •Manage student behavior and ensure a safe environment; promote cultural awareness, well-being, and guide students on educational matters.
