Key Responsibilities

  • •Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and authority standards to ensure accurate survey execution and compliance with design requirements.
  • •Establish and maintain primary horizontal and vertical control points on site, including reference benchmarks and traverse networks.
  • •Check and verify setting-out works (alignment, levels, coordinates) for roads, utilities, structures, and other civil works to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved drawings.
  • •Monitor excavation levels, backfilling, and compaction layers against approved design grades and tolerances.
  • •Conduct topographic and as-built surveys, verify survey instruments calibration/maintenance, record and report survey data, and support Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer with contractor survey checks and HSE reporting.
