Job Summary

Lead and manage high voltage and EHV substation projects from proposal through closeout, coordinating design, budgets, and contracts for a Power & Energy team. Build client relationships across the South and Southwest, drive risk management and QA/QC, and mentor project staff while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of complex utility projects.

Location: Austin, Albuquerque, Baton Rouge, Houston, Phoenix, San Antonio

Key Responsibilities

•Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV substation projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and contractual obligations
•Engage stakeholders at all levels, maintain relationships, and report on project progress
•Guide pursuit/initiation activities, Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews
•Lead contract negotiations and client presentations when required
•Oversee QA/QC and technical reviews, and provide strategic input to clients

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy Market
•12 years of post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility Industry
•Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering/construction teams for high voltage and/or extra high voltage substation projects
•Knowledge of project management processes and tools (Contract Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, CPM scheduling)
•Strong leadership, communication, and QA/QC capabilities with travel willingness
