Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Load and unload goods/materials, maneuver the truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Maintain delivery documentation (invoices, shipping bills of lading, and required paperwork) and deliver it to the appropriate staff when finished.
  • •Perform routine service tasks on trucks (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, and air) and report maintenance issues; arrange trailers for optimum loading patterns.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.

  • •Pass a DOT physical, since trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
