Design and lead cross-platform UX for Skydio’s autonomous robotics platforms, translating complex AI/hardware systems into intuitive, reliable interfaces. Key Responsibilities

•Design for Trust: Lead the UX strategy and execution for our core platforms (including remote operations), building interfaces for autonomous flying robots to reinforce confidence, reliability, and transparency.
•Solve Unsolved Problems: Tackle complex challenges with no existing playbook, designing interfaces for remote hardware sensing, 3D spatial awareness, and AI-driven missions.
•Drive the Narrative: Use storytelling to communicate user needs and align Engineering, Product Management, and Leadership around a unified design vision.
•Elevate the Craft: Deliver high-fidelity prototypes and integrate AI tools to move faster and explore wider.
•Get in the Field: Visit customer sites to understand chaotic environments and translate ground truth into design decisions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 annually
