Job Summary

Manage high-value Defence and Security projects and programmes, delivering according to the project plan while reporting to the Senior Delivery Lead. Build strong client and internal relationships to scope and deliver work to budget, on time, and in line with expectations and the WSP Business Management System. Own project performance across commercial, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction, including security management and reporting, chairing meetings, and monitoring finances.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage high-value, challenging projects and programmes within the Defence and Security sector and deliver according to the project plan.
•Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to scope and deliver tasks to budget and on time in line with client expectations.
•Chair meetings, write reports, organise resources, and monitor finances throughout project delivery.
•Be accountable for all aspects of project performance across commercial, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction, including security management requirements.
•Support ongoing work winning activities and act as an ambassador for the Defence and Security sector within the business.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in the Defence and Security sector in a project/programme management capacity delivering building or infrastructure projects (not IT Infrastructure) with understanding of security protocols.
•Experience working with MOD policy, processes and procedures; knowledge of JSPs including JSP 850; and awareness of The Green Book and 5 case model for business cases.
•Experience in Design and Build, ECI, or alliancing delivery models with a strong design and construction link.
•A professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline (engineering, building, quantity surveying, project or construction management).
•Recognised project or programme management qualification from PMI, APM, RICS, or CIOB, and NEC3/4 PM qualification; must be eligible to achieve Security Clearance.
