Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture for coding-agent systems, including the ticket-to-pull-request service, sandboxes/remote development environments, and integrations with Linear, GitHub, Claude, and Cursor.
  • •Own the end-to-end developer workflow from ticket to merged, tested change; diagnose bottlenecks and improve tooling.
  • •Run these systems as production infrastructure with clear ownership, monitoring, uptime targets, and incident accountability.
  • •Own platform costs by tracking spend per agent run and development environment and keeping it proportional to delivered value.
  • •Set engineering standards for design reviews, testing, operational readiness, and code quality; represent the pod across engineering and mentor engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 190,500 - 262,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience designing, building, and running distributed backend systems in production, including identifying and permanently fixing problems at scale.
  • •Experience owning the design of developer tools, CI/CD systems, or internal platforms used by hundreds of engineers.
  • •Hands-on experience building with large language models and coding agents, including running agents, providing tools, validating output, and tracking cost.
  • •Experience running services with uptime targets: defining SLAs, building monitoring/alerting, and owning incidents.
  • •A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
